Service in Action: Partnering with Local Schools This Fall

As the school year begins, the Pasadena Women’s Club is proud to stand alongside our local educators, students, and families. This fall, we’re deepening our commitment to school-based service—from supply drives to mentorship opportunities—because investing in youth means investing in Pasadena’s future.

Why This Matters:
Public schools are vital to our community’s health and growth. Many students begin the year without access to basic learning tools. Through thoughtful support and meaningful volunteerism, we can help bridge that gap.

How To Get Involved:
📚 Back-to-School Supply Drive – Drop off new notebooks, pencils, glue sticks, and backpacks at the Blinn House front hall through September 12.
🎒 Adopt-a-Classroom Program – Sponsor essential supplies for a local teacher. We’ll provide a wishlist; you or your group can fulfill it.
👩‍🏫 Mentoring Moments – Sign up to participate in a one-on-one or small group reading session with elementary school students in collaboration with PUSD’s Reading Partners.
🥪 Lunch Bag Love Notes – Volunteer to prep meal kits and decorate bags with positive messages for students enrolled in school lunch programs.
